Tournament History
What started in 2015 with 10 participants playing golf, having lunch together and thinking about breast cancer experiences, has now blossomed into 124 people (plus waitlist) and we are celebrating our 10th year. Most of the original members and many of the volunteers either were breast cancer survivors or knew someone who had breast cancer and we realized how important it had been for us to get outside and play golf with friends during and after our treatment.
Through the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we have donated over $125,000 to Sara’s Project. While the fees paid by golfers go almost entirely to pay the costs of renting the golf course, snacks for golfers, prizes for tournament winners and a wonderful event luncheon, our sponsor and in-kind donor funds, as well as sales of auction tickets, have brought our annual donation to $35,000!
