Q4 – 2018 Review
It’s a crisp and clear New Year’s Day and as I sit in the real estate office at Tetherow and watch visitors grab the shuttle to the mountain, I am reminded of how special this place is. Last year was a record setting year at Tetherow and I expect more of the same in the coming year.
Although the year ended with some stock market jitters, the real estate market at Tetherow is strong and robust and we are down to the final 10% of developer homesites remaining! However, there are still great opportunities for you to secure the homesite of your dreams. From the heart of the Heath neighborhood to the extension of the North Forty Lots on Hosmer Lake Dr in the Crescent Neighborhood, there is something for everyone.
In addition to lots, there has never been a better time to get into an already built home. There are currently a few options for new construction built by some the top builders in Bend as well as a growing number of resales coming on the market as some of the first owners in Tetherow are making changes. This presents a great opportunity for those who are ready and want to move into a completed home.
On the investment front, the Trailhead vacation homes will be wrapping up construction in the coming year, and we are excited to see that neighborhood take shape. Sitting at the base of the best trails in Bend, there is no better spot to launch your adventure and come back to the club for an evening bite, drink and swim. On the other side of the clubhouse is the latest offering in the Cairn neighborhood, the 2 bedroom Cairn Cottages! These smaller homes will be just over 1000 square feet and will be a great opportunity for rental income and offer a cozy sized place to call home when you’re here!
